Solo time can be the most nourishing and satisfying way to spend a weekend. Particularly in an age where FOMO can be provoked 24/7 with just a glance at the screen, it's important to take some time out for ourselves, whether that's to revive, nourish, heal, or simply reconnect within.
So, if you're looking for some fun things to do by yourself, you've come to the right online nook.
When was the last time you lazed in bed with a beautiful breakfast tray and your fave magazines or newspaper (okay let's be real, the news will be read on your phone). There's something real romantic about chowing down on jam toast and tea while beneath the sheets. We recommend doing this pre washing your sheets so any crumbs are taken care of.
If having breakfast served to you is more your style, why not take yourself out to your fave local cafe for an epic morning feed. Or head to that place you've been meaning to try for forever, but can't seem to rally your squad to. It's totally okay to eat out alone and kind of chic to be honest. Pack a book or your journal and enjoy some solo food appreciation time and perhaps some people watching.

Is there anything more glorious than lying in the warmth of the sunshine for your daily dose of vitamin D? Download an ep from your fave podcast, pack your bag and towel or rug, and head to the park or nearest sunny destination for a relaxing session amongst the birds and the bees. This is also the perfect time for some self reflection, so download your fave meditation or bring along your journal and pen for extra zen points.

Reading is the ultimate solo activity that never feels lonely - not when you're caught up in the drama, emotions and plot twists of fictional characters. Take a break from your own mind and the busyness of life and allow yourself to become completely absorbed into another world. And, don't feel pressured to whip out a classic or Pulitzer Prize winner if that's not your jam - chick lit can be just as satisfying and delightful.
Yep, a whole day - like don't leave your sheets unless it's for fridge visitation or a bathroom break. This can be combined with some of our other suggestions like breakfast in bed and spending a day reading a novel, along with a Netflix Binge, napping, meditating, journalling, working on a creative project, organising your photos, reading your old diaries - anything that nourishes the soul and feels deliciously indulgent. Sometimes one day in bed is all you need to feel totally reborn.
Moving your toosh is not only a massive stress reliever, but also makes you feel super energised, healthy and vibrant. You certainly don't need any company to get your sweat on. Simply head outside for a walk or run, or grab your yoga mat or gym bag and head to your fave class solo style.

There really is something magical about luxuriating in a tub of warm water. Add some soft music, candles, bubbles (and bubbly...), plus some beauty pampering goodies and and you're not far from tasting heaven. Just don't think you need to save this for the evening. A bath during the daytime can feel even more indulgent.

As life gets busy, we tend to slip into the same routines and rituals. This goes for our beauty routine and makeup look. If you're someone who defaults to the same makeup application everyday and leaves her coloured eye shadows and lipsticks unloved, this is for you. Take an hour out to play around with some new makeup and hair styles to spice up your look over the coming season. Grab some mags (for inspo) lipsticks, eye shadow palettes, head scarves, hair clips, etc and have some fun primping in front of the mirror. Best case, you walk away with some new looks to roll out over the coming months. Worse case, you have a laugh and post some funny Insta stories.
If wanderlust is calling, take some time out to plan your next travel adventure or summer vacay. Create a vision board, or do some internet surfing and research to discover and plan your ideal trip. Whether you're chasing the hot new travel destination or a classic experience, now's the time to put the wheels in motion. A cooking tour through Sicily? A wild party in Mexico? A spiritual journey through India? You decide, and make it happen!

Who doesn't feel better after a Kondu-inspired clean out? If you're feeling in any way overwhelmed, overloaded, and like life is a bit chaotic, take a day out to SIMPLIFY every area of your life. Do a full clean out of your wardrobe, fridge, pantry, and home. Perform a mass unfollow across your social accounts, so you're only following the peeps and brands you love. Clear out your phone memory. Organise your desktop and computer files. Clean out and organise your bag and wallet - throw out old cards and receipts. You know the drill, keep only whats functional or "sparks joy". Then walk into the new week lighter and brighter.

Are you someone who saves ordering in for when you have company? This often means compromising on your fave dishes and meals. When you're vibing a solo movie night, treat yourself and order in your fave takeout or UberEats smorgasbord. Just don't forget ice cream if you're really serious about this treat yourself business.
