Each hat takes eight hours to create using a special diagonal weaving technique that produces a stunning and sturdy hat that’s not only fashionable, but protects your delicate skin from the harsh sun.

Chuchka Cali Hats are handmade by Columbian artisans and we are committed to supporting these traditional communities by stocking these unique pieces. Cali Hats are made of handwoven Iraka Plam straw and waterproof paint. Each Cali Hat has a natural variation in the weave due to the handmade process, so you can be sure your hat is one of a kind.

Cali Hats are also insanely versatile. Depending on the occasion, you can wear the brim up, down or half up/half down. It’s simple to move the brim to your desired shape and you don’t need to worry about bending it out of shape – the hats bounce back to their original shape with ease.
